A special runoff election was scheduled after no candidate took the majority of the votes in the Mansfield ISD school board election on Nov. 3. A majority happens when a candidate receives more than 50 percent of the votes.

The Dec. 8 runoff election for the Place 7 seat will be between the top two finishers: Yolanda McPherson (approximately 42% of the votes) and Incumbent Courtney Lackey Wilson (approximately 40% of votes). For more information, visit the MISD Board Elections webpage.
