A special runoff election was scheduled after no candidate took the majority of the votes in the Mansfield ISD school board election on May 7. A majority happens when a candidate receives more than 50 percent of the votes.

The June 18 runoff election is between the top two finishers for Place 3, Dr. Benita C. Reed and Craig Tipping. For more information, including unofficial results, visit the MISD Board Elections webpage.
